Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee of a plant. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her siblings. Stone was thought to be gifted academically in her early years and entered second grade at five. Saegertown School located in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the high school she attended. Her graduation was in 1975. She was also a contestant at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt moved out of New Jersey to New Jersey in order to pursue a career as a model in the year 1977. They joined an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a short period of time. After spending a year between Milan and Paris, Stone moved to Europe. Stone unhappy with the world of model in Europe decided to take up acting in Europe. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews in her 20s.
