Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was just 14 years old. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she was able to make her debut as an amateur against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of each fight. Then, she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had previously defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her by unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the defeat, beating Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen took on McGill with her wrestling and finished her off in the third round via TKO. Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd had missed weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. At Invicta FC 21, she had her last bout for the organization. She beat Sijaraebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 at which point she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and pounded her with a ground and pound in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She came back to her winning ways with a stunning win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd won over Evinger within the first minute and was awarded a prize for the performance of the evening. Sijara Eubanks of Invicta FC was her opponent in another rematch in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. The two fighters had an intense battle that concluded with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote and both fighters earning their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round at UFC in ESPN 7. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
